Job Shadowing
The Job Shadow Experience Program is designed to give students the chance to explore careers of interest prior to leaving high school, entering the career field or pursuing post secondary education. The program enables students to extend their learning beyond the school. This will be an invaluable learning experience that will help them get one step closer to their ultimate career goals.
Job shadowing is a work experience option where a student can receive a “day in the life” experience with a company and/or employer. While job shadowing, the student/shadower will be able to witness firsthand the work environment and the occupational/interpersonal skills practiced by their shadow employer. This can help the student decide if a particular major/career is something they want to pursue.
